The Hotel

The site of Llansantffraed Court dates back to the twelfth century. The present house, which is a stunning Grade 2 Listed Building, is built in the style of William and Mary and stands within 20 acres of private park land, complete with ornamental lake and fountain. It has been an established hotel since the 1920’s, a fact that is reflected by the warm welcome from the present owner who bought the business in 1997, Mike Morgan, his family and their attentive, considerate staff.

The hotel is exquisitely furnished to give a sense of homely yet spacious luxury and each of our 21 bedrooms is individually furnished and has a country house charm of its own.  They feature four-posterbeds, LCD flat screen satellite televisions, wireless internet access, mini-bars, ipod MP3 docking stations, contemporary bathrooms, direct dial phones, plenty of space to work, and quality lighting.  Each and every one has a stunning view.

We now offer up to 8 meg Wireless Broadband Internet access across the whole house, including all of the lounges, the terrace and grounds.  This is provided free of charge to our guests.

We have an award-winning restaurant using only the finest local ingredients, while open log fires in the lounge and afternoon teas on the terrace all add to Llansantffraed’s charm.

Weddings and conferences are a specialty of the hotel and a wide range of excellent facilities are available for all types of functions, celebrations and meetings. We are licenced for Civil Marriage Ceremonies and the formation of Civil Partnerships.

Llansantffraed Court provides plenty of opportunities to take advantage of energetic or relaxing pursuits, either on site or nearby.

Guests can enjoy archery, bowls, croquet, go-karting, putting, quad Bikes, shooting and team-building in the hotel and its grounds, and we have two beautiful Beats of the adjacent River Usk for Slamon and Trout fly-fishing.

We take our obligations regarding access for all very seriously and

are working towards our goals
